Hysteresis type cable reel is composed of three-phase asynchronous motor, single phase axle bearing, hysteresis coupler, reduction gear and cable rolling drum.

When the electrical device work with departing from the power source, the cable is dragged by the outside force, overcomes hysteresis torque of hysteresis coupler, at the same time the hysteresis coupler produces fractional slip (one-way axle bearing plays braker role), releases the the cable, which coiling up on the cable reel device. When the electric device return back to the power source, the asynchronous motor drive one-way axle bearing and hysteresis coupler, drive the reel to collect the cable by making driving force enlarged from speed reducing machine.
